What happened
The Enforcement Directorate stated that it took up investigation under FEMA on credible information and filed a complaint under Section 16 before the Adjudicating Authority.
The company then applied to the RBI for compounding of the contraventions under Section 15, and the ED gave no objection on reference from the RBI.
The RBI compounded the contraventions vide order dated 08.04.2026 for Rs 12,52,984, which terminated the adjudication proceedings and further litigation on those contraventions.
Company records show registration in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and a head office in the Sriperumbudur SEZ, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, placing the case in Tamil Nadu.
