Chandigarh Police

What the Centre’s books set aside to run this Union Territory’s police and to build or buy for them, from the Territory’s own demand (Demand 53) in the Home Ministry’s detailed grants. Not the CAPF demand, not jails.

A Union book, not a state book

Chandigarh has no legislature budget of its own for police; Parliament votes Demand 53. Total - Police (Major Head), voted plus ₹1,000 thousand charged in the three estimate columns. The Indian Reserve Battalion sits inside this total; jails do not. The Centre’s own police (CAPF) sit on Demand 51 and are not added here.

Each stop is a printed grain, or a dashed EMPTY where the book does not print the next line. We do not invent a station share.
